Breeders vs. Adoption
This is an important follow up to our earlier post:
Getting pets from both breeders and through adoption always require you to have the dog registered, spayed and neutered (to prevent improper breeding) and have it microchipped. The difference lies if you adopt a rescue dog. The state of the dog or pup when it was rescued may well be a consideration for you to think of, the responsibility of having adopted a formerly maltreated dog is high, are you ready to take it upon your shoulders?
Deafened by the din of animal rights groups and victims, people wanting to own pets are asked to approach pet dog owning in a realistic manner without the rose-colored glasses. Once you make eye-contact with the mutt of your choice, decide in your head which king of pet dog owner you'd want to be.
